My daughter is very fond of puns, and it has rubbed off on me. Hopefully that's not a bad thing!
I made this card for Fathers Day this year. Perhaps I could make a wildflower card for every month. (Now that is an idea I should pursue)
For most of my life that I only gave home made cards. Christmas became a bit crazy when I was making (writing and sending) over 100 cards. I don't do this as much now. Giving cards has gone out of style lately due to the advent of Social Media. However I feel that the gift of a hand made personal card is just that, a gift that the receiver can keep, if only for a little while.
With my daughter moving interstate recently, I am often sending her a little note in a card with her mail.
I made one as a gift for a cousins daughter recently. It was a good excuse to try out some new markers. It went straight on display in her van. Thats a nice feeling.
