Printmaker Apron Pocket.
Updated: Aug 17
You cant have too many pockets in an apron! One for my gloves, one for a rag, one for my glasses......
After a bit of experimenting with different brayers/ rollers, and changing to my small ' X cut XPRESS Craft Machine', I am happy with the results.
I have included a picture of this little press below. It's very small and portable, perfect for a kitchen table. I just find the perspex a bit slippery to work with, but ok if you are mindful. I had intended to use it for workshops, or travelling. Maybe in the near future.
The prints have a hand made feel, printed on cotton drill with black speedball fabric ink which is permanent.
14.5cm x16.5cm is the completed size roughly.
I am hemming the pockets so they are ready to stitch into place on an art apron, t-shirt, studio shirt or bag.
A perfect little gift for that printer friend in your life.
I have given one to all my printmaker friends at Duck Print. Please let me know if you missed out.
Otherwise, they are now available in the Indigodazeart store.
